Bio

I have been teaching for the past 18 years and love what I do!  I currently work with 2nd thru 5th graders who are assigned to A/BIC.  My husband, Jim White, also works for Greene County Schools in the roles of Bus driver and In-School teacher.  He is also a pastor, serves in the Army National Guard, and helps others with his newest certification in personal training.  He completes the latter at the local YMCA.  We are blessed to have a lovely daughter who is enrolled with Heritage Home Scholars for her high school journey.

I am starting another new adventure in an adjunct faculty placement for WSCC.  I will be the instructor the the EDUC 1030 course developed to assist incoming students with study skills, technology, and various resources needed for their collegiate success.

Being a small town girl from a "close to poverty" level family while growing up, I am truly thankfor for everything that God has blessed me with at this present time.  Whether it be my education level or my students assigned to A/BIC, I am grateful for every opportunity that comes my way.

My philosophy in education is..."You learn something everyday, whether you realize it or not!"
